RNID web-site

I have read the RNID web-site posted by Susan and I agree: there are not many of the events in the Edinburgh Fringe "hard of hearing friendly". I think, perhaps, it would be a help if next year, the Fringe and the Festival, both, were to publish their info with the additional clarification: WITH LOOP FACILITY or NOT LOOP next to each event. The Scotsman, I think, should also help telling us in its reviews this information. After all it is only a question of 2 or 3 words!

  1. How many are DEAF friendly ? a whole lot less believe me ! Typical of the RNID to ignore those... THis charity is NOT a repsentative of deaf people, it has no memberships nor mandate to declare that...it woudl help if bloggers did not keep hyping up this myth, there are next to NO deaf members at the RNID, we won't join until they at least start employing and lusteneing to deaf people either. This is the RNID plugging its 'bread and butter' area at the expense of the really deprived...
